Big Bodacious Spring Expo

Mother's Day weekend is a busy time for boutiques and expos. This past week I visited 3 different ones!  I had a nice time at all of them.  Last week I wrote about my visit to the Holy Cow Mother's Day Boutique.  Today I'm going to write about the Big Bodacious Spring Expo.  This expo was a good mixture of local artists and independent consultants from bigger companies.  I always like to visit the booths of the local artists.  At this event, all of the people were at their booth so I had the chance to chat with quite a few interesting people.  I'm going to spotlight some of my favorite booths.  To get more information about them, you can visit them a their different sites that I linked to.

Jones Paper Craft was the first booth I visited.  She had the cutest end-of-school-year teacher gifts.  I loved her prints that you could frame.  She even personalizes them!  She has quite a few party decorations available in her Etsy store too.  And how cute are these paper straw flowers?

Annie Lane Boutique makes these wonderful hand painted signs.  You should definitely check out her Facebook page to see her wonderful options.  I love the board with mason jars that have flowers in them.  Wouldn't that be perfect for fresh flowers during spring and summer?

Ponytails and Pollywogs has beautiful boutique quality dresses for a fraction of the price. She also has some adorable baby shoes too.  Do you have a kiddo that has trouble keeping shirts tucked in?  Try her Tuck-eez product to make sure it doesn't happen again!

Manelle Oliphant Illustration had wonderful examples of her original artwork and also prints available. She has illustrated children's books too.  I bought a beautiful print of Pandora's Box as well as a book for my daughter.  Her website is definitely fun to look at and even has some original short stories written by Manelle.

Kristy Kreates Cards had such a nice selection of handmade cards.  Kristy said that she has been making cards for fun for over a decade!  She had quite a large selection of different occasions, colors, and types to choose from. She also creates jewelry holders and stone coasters.

Sweet Creek Candy has homemade candy in a bunch of fun flavors.  Heidi said that she has been making candy since she was 13 years old.  She has the jars of little pieces of her tasty treats, or she also sells lollipops too.  We bought a jar of the "Tropical" and it has 4 yummy flavors in it.  My girls rate it 2 thumbs up!

Visit the sites that I linked to so you can see more of their wonderful products.  And don't forget to check your local area to find out about local events you can visit.
