Bloggers Brags Weekly Pinterest Party - August 10th

Thanks for visiting the link up this week.  If you aren't a blogger, you can find some great tips, recipes and DIY projects here.

I spent most of last week spending time with my sister-in-law who was visiting.  I did have time to post one fun sewing project I wanted to share with all of you.  It is the 2nd link for this weeks link-up.  It was such a fun project and you can use it for more than just pencils.

Welcome to the

Bloggers Brags logo

The hosts and co-hosts are trying to remember to tweet, share on Facebook, and share on Google+ using the hashtag #bloggersbrags. We'll try to like, +1, or favorite your posts too! We would love it if you shared a tweet:

Here are this week's

Featured posts from Bloggers Brags Party week 90

My favorite posts from last week's party:

Sand+Sea+Sky Prince Edward Island, Canada by Flourish & Knot
Simple DIY Water Wall by Encourage Play

I chose the PEI post by one of my co-hosts because it is one of the places that I dream of visiting, and Sarah's pictures are amazing.  I feel almost as if I am there myself.  The fact that she visited the Anne of Green Gables Historic Site made the post perfect!

I love the idea of creating a fun water wall for kids.  My girls played for almost an hour at one at a children's museum.  They had the best time and this is a fun DIY project that the kids will love!

  1. This post is such a wonderful resource. There are so many exciting links. If I knew how to sew I would make your beautiful DIY fabric zippered pencil pouch. A pouch like that would be perfect for travel - cosmetics bag, for cords (iPhone charger, mouse, etc.), for camera batteries, travel documents and more!

    1. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. You have some great ideas for uses for the pouch. =) The zipper part was a little challenging, but I might practice a bit more so it goes more smoothly.

  2. Cute idea! The thought of sewing a zipper terrifies me even though it is probably quite simple.

  3. Great link up, I have found some great posts to check out!

    1. I'm glad you found some good posts to check out. I love seeing all the travel people are doing, new project ideas, and recipes to try.
