Hi there and thanks for visiting Home Crafts by Ali! My name is Aliza, but I go by my college nickname Ali.

I love being creative, whether it's in my craft room, in the kitchen, or behind my camera.  When you come visit here, I hope that you find some ideas that inspire you to be creative in your own life.

A Little About Ali

I grew up in beautiful, lush, and green western Washington then moved to Utah where I met my husband.  My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have 2 sweet daughters (10 & 7).  We lived in South Carolina for quite a few years where we started our family, and now we live in Utah where we have enjoyed exploring the mountains and national parks.

I started crafting when I was in high school and my love for creating items has grown over the years.  I love the whole artistic process; the thinking and planning things out, creating something new and beautiful out of supplies, and displaying my projects.

A Little About Home Crafts by Ali

I started Home Crafts by Ali as a Facebook page years ago so I could share my crochet and sewing projects.  In late 2014 I decided to start this blog so I could have an artistic outlet and thought it would be a great way to share how to create these items in your own home.  On Home Crafts by Ali I most often share my craft tutorials, thrifty makeover projects, and tasty recipes.  You will also find some of the artsy products I like, reviews of creative books, examples of my photography, a little about our travels, and local events here in Utah.
