Are you looking for some book recommendations? I've got some for you! I started a new blog series On the Shelf where I share the books I read the past month. Take a look and add a few books to your want to read list.
On the theme of reading, print out a Summer Reading Chart to help kids keep track of their reading progress. It's so important to encourage fun reading so they don't suffer from Summer Slide and lose reading skills.
We have been working on some pretty and useful wood projects for our garden. My husband designed and we built elevated garden boxes that I absolutely love! Next we will insall some shelves in my new craft room so I can get things organized. I can't wait to show you the before and after photos!

Welcome to the first On the Shelf post! Each month I'll be share what books have been spending time on my bookshelf and helping my imagination to soar. Hopefully you will get some ideas of books to add to your To Be Read list!
In May, I read quite a few books and I was surprised at the amount when writing this post. I am a little bookworm though! When my youngest saw this list, she asked if next month she could add her favorite book that she read to this list. I said of course! The hard part will be narrowing it down to one.
Here we are at another Friday, thankfully this is the start of a long holiday weekend. What are your weekend plans? I'm going to be finishing my garden, spending time with family, and eating some delicious food!
Memorial Day is the start of patriotic summer holidays. I'm getting out my easy to make red, white, and blue wreath this weekend to add some color to my front door.

As the school year wraps up, have your kids fill out this Printable End of School Interview so they can remember what their favorites were this year. It's fun for them to look back at past years to see what is the same and what has changed.
I bet when you have visited the thrift store you have seen those wooden toy trays. If your kids like to play with LEGOs, this LEGO play tray would be an easy project for you.
Did you enjoy National Parks Week with a trip to one of our beautiful parks? If not, take a look at these 6 National Parks and Monuments to add to your travel bucket list.

Another month has started my friend and I'm looking forward to the uplifting scriptures of the New Testament. To help keep track of the Come, Follow Me studing schedule, I put together these digital reminders for your weekly study as well as for Sunday School classes in May.
These reminders are useful for your family study or you can share them with members of your ward. You can download these images to text to members of your ward or use them to update your ward Facebook page. Send out the Sunday School reminders a few days before the lesson so people remember what chapters will be discussed during class.
